Description

Cas-Grain is a 4th generation family farm located in the Tisdale region. We grow and harvest a wide variety of grain, pulse and oil seed crops. Learn more at www.cas-grain.ca.

We are looking for a Farm Worker to join our team and perform day-to-day grain farm activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Perform farm tasks such as seeding, spraying, and harvesting crops
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
Use power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Follow farm safety and environmental procedures
Maintain farm logs and equipment records

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
2+ years grain farm experience in Western Canada
English verbal and written communication skills
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities
Mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs of equipment
Physically able to perform the duties through all seasons
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Experience with heavy duty mechanics, welding, construction equipment operation, Class 1A etc. will be considered an asset
